Introducing #SeniorSpotlight! Each week, we feature a heartfelt reflection from one of our Year 13 students in our school newsletter. Today, we’re delighted to share Marissa’s reflections as she approaches graduation:
Stay tuned for more as we celebrate the journeys of our graduating Seniors!
“Hello everyone! My name is Marissa and I am in Year 13. I’ve been at Winstedt for a year and I am so proud to graduate from Winstedt in June. I have the privilege of being a Head Prefect within the Winstedt community.
I’ve loved taking a hold of all the opportunities this school has given me, from performing on stage to working with younger kids.
Marissa M, Year 13
This academic year I have been working towards my next steps of going to college. With support of teachers and faculty I have not only completed a lengthy application process, but as of now have also received offers from 3 schools in the USA with scholarships. I plan to continue my studies majoring in Sociology. I have accomplished so much in the past year with the support of the Winstedt community. I am eager to start this next chapter but will miss this school dearly.”
