Fast Facts
Established: Founded in 2008
History: The Winstedt School began as a small private school (formally known as Learn Different) in 2008 by its founder, a third-generation Singaporean and educator, Sharon Solomon, whose personal experience as a student made her realise there was nothing wrong with her, but with the traditional mass-driven education system.
In 15 years, Winstedt has gone from opening its doors as a preschool to 3 students to a globally accredited Reception-Y13 international school with an innovative teaching model unparalleled in Asia for differentiated learners. Winstedt remains the only school founded and purpose-built in Singapore and the region for a student population who learn “differently”. Since 2008, Winstedt is pioneering the way for progressive education in Asia.
Winstedt is an independent family-owned school with a tight-knit community of students, educators, specialists, administrators, and parents who are passionate about the mission and vision of Winstedt.
