We arrived in Singapore in 2019 just as COVID was kicking off. From the minute we walked into the school, we knew it was different. After our trial Hamish was begging to be enrolled, and his words will forever stay with us: “Mum there are other kids like me here, I’m not alone anymore. They don’t rush you to get work done”.
Winstedt has taught him coping mechanisms to deal with his learning support needs, and how to advocate for himself and his sensory issues. He knows what kind of person he wants to be, his confidence has changed his life. The holistic and inclusive environment along with kind and compassionate staff have changed his life and ours as a family. Just an amazing and magical school and we will miss it so much!
