Committee for Private Education (CPE)
Established under the Private Education Act, the Committee for Private Education (CPE) is a statutory board sanctioned with the legislative power to regulate the private education sector, to which all international schools belong. In addition to its role as the sectoral regulator of private education institutions (PEIs), the CPE facilitates capability development efforts to uplift standards in the Singapore international school industry.
The EduTrust Certification is a quality assurance programme administered by CPE for private education providers in Singapore. This programme aims to distinguish private schools that are able to consistently maintain a high standard of quality in the overall provision of education services and make continual improvements that lead to positive student outcomes.
The Winstedt School was awarded EduTrust Provisional certification in 2017 and 2018. And in 2019, Winstedt received the 4-year EduTrust certification. The 4-year award is given to PEIs who sustain an excellent level of performance in management of the school and who provide high quality education standards and welfare for students. Winstedt has had a huge impact on his life
“He wrote you his own little letter, but I thought I’d fill you in on how he’s doing. I’m so happy to report that he is doing wonderfully! He is really taking off in both reading and writing now. Winstedt has had a huge impact on his life. I doubt that you will ever be forgotten.”
