Alison Moore
Profile
In her role as Head of Admissions & Marketing, Alison oversees the school’s admissions, communication and marketing portfolios. During the admissions process, she ensures that our pupils and their parents have a positive, and supportive school experience from the outset. She works in close partnership with the administrative, academic, therapy and pastoral teams to create an integrated and seamless pathway, tailored to the needs of each family.
Alison experienced first-hand the international schools' admissions process when she moved with her family to Singapore in 2019. This experience together with her extensive knowledge of customer management and mental health and well-being gives her unique insight into the importance of creating a welcoming and safe school environment, where quality is assured and achieved through consistent delivery of all aspects of the school's support systems. Alison has continued to develop her skillset and recently completed a post-graduate Diploma in Special Education.
Before moving to Singapore Alison spent over 8 years in senior leadership roles in the charity sector in the UK, building a reputation for developing and growing client-centric services for organisations like Independent Age and Mind. Prior to this she worked in corporate marketing for blue-chip companies like Pepsi and Standard Chartered Bank. Her passion for self-development led her to pursue further studies in counselling in 2011 to pivot to a more vocational career-path.
Along with her extensive career history and counselling background Alison is first and foremost a parent, one who has moved countries and schools numerous times, and so understands the challenges this presents to families seeking the right school for their child.
