Profile
Karina has more than 25 years of teaching experience and started with Winstedt as an Early Years / Literacy Coordinator after spending some time as a kindergarten teacher with a leading preschool in Singapore. In addition to being Head of the Early Years programme, she also trains teachers and gives workshops to parents on early literacy.
Drawing on her background in inclusive education, Karina continues to explore the domain of special education while looking into developing teachers’ social- emotional learning to improve teaching practice. She is a firm believe in life-long learning and is currently working towards completing her Doctorate degree while continuing to refine her leadership skills to better support and inspire her team.
