“Hello! My name is Ashley and I’m in Year 13. I’ve been in Winstedt for quite a while. I’m sad about graduating in June because I will miss Winstedt. It’s like my second home. I’ll also miss my friends and my wonderful teachers; they have taught me wonderful things.
Winstedt is great for me because when I was in another, bigger school it was much harder because I would fail my exams. When I came back to Winstedt I felt happy because it’s like my home. I can talk to my friends, my teachers and other people, but leaving Winstedt, I’ll be really upset. I’ve known a lot of people from the old campus like; Aurelio, Inokae but he graduated and went to the UK, and Alexa who has been in this school the longest. I also met Ms Mas and Ms Grace and it was sad to see them leave.
Doing drama/ theatre is my passion because I get to learn different things and be new characters that you want to be. You can also learn about going on stage to project your voice too, but sometimes I get really scared because there’s a lot of people watching my performance. When the audience and my friends clap for me I feel happy and proud of myself.”
