After being introduced to recycling as part of their IPC theme “What’s It Made Of?” and a workshop on paper making, our students took action!
Learning Critical Skills
Collecting scrap from around the school, they shredded, soaked, and blended the paper into a soft pulp before pressing it into new sheets. They even added dried flowers to create unique designs!
In an era where upcycling is a critical skill, experiences like these strengthen our students’ fine motor skills as well as prepare them to think differently about resources and their ability to make a difference.
