Our young botanists from Prep School recently dove into the fascinating world of stomata — the tiny pores on leaves that allow oxygen and carbon dioxide to pass through.
Learning Through Discovery and Curiosity
With microscopes in hand, students uncovered the magic behind how plants ‘breathe.’ This hands-on exploration helped them understand that these small pores play a big role, enabling vital gases like oxygen and carbon dioxide to move in and out of plants.
It was a “pore-fect” way to learn about plant life and the importance of stomata.
