Profile
As the CEO of Winstedt, Ann is responsible for the effective overall management of the school to advance its mission and vision. She leads the school leadership team to develop and achieve schoolwide goals and objectives and advises the Board of Directors on setting and implementing the strategic direction of the school.
Ann brings to Winstedt a solid track record of success as a global strategic leader. She has worked in private, public, and non-profit sectors spanning Washington D.C., Sydney, Australia, the Philippines, and Singapore.
Ann was appointed CEO at Winstedt in December 2020 after serving as the Chief Operating Officer from February 2020. Before joining Winstedt, Ann was the Chief Executive at the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore. She grew the chamber to be the largest international business chamber in Southeast Asia.
She has also held several senior roles at the National University of Singapore including as Chief of Staff to the Dean of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy.
During her time in Sydney, she worked at Ogilvy, a global PR agency, advising corporate clients on issue management and crisis communications. Ann was the Head of Strategic Planning at the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), one of the world's largest agriculture research and development organizations headquartered in the Phillippines, where she developed the Institute's 10-year global strategic plan.
A lawyer by training, Ann began her career in Washington D.C. She worked for a U.S. Senator, as a lobbyist and spokesperson for various trade associations, and later as a senior official on intergovernmental affairs with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security in the Obama Administration.
